About The Designer
My name is Laurel. I've been bicycling up and down the hills of San Francisco for more than 10 years, and I've often wished there was a greater variety of casualwear designed for the special needs of bicycle commuters.
I began sewing my own wardrobe in 2001 and quickly became eager for skills that would enable me to create designs from my own imagination. I spent three years obtaining a certificate in the art of flat patternmaking at Apparel Arts in San Francisco, where I continue to study garment design and construction techniques.
